There are two web cameras at osprey nests in Estonia, one in  Võru County (Võrumaa) and the other in Tartu  County (Tartumaa).

The Tartu  County nest we can watch from 2013 onwards

The Tartu County camera nest we built in the winter of 2013 to replace the natural nest that had fallen down and which was located about 50 m away. The osprey pair at once accepted the artificial nest as their own. The history of the nest can be read on the introductory page of the forum.

After 4 pm on Monday male Sulev came to feed the eaglet

 

White-tailed eagle      Merikotkas       Haliaeëtus albicilla

 

The nest of the white-tailed eagles crumbles visibly. Luckily the pine tree has strong side branches where the birds can sit but the eaglet does have to train gymnastics.

June 10th, early morning

 

Osprey         Kalakotkas        Pandion haliaetus

 

Some small adjustments must be made in the hatching timeline of the osprey chicks.

We saw the hatching of the first osprey chick in the nest of Irma and Ivo on June 4. The new generation was increased by the next chick that hatched on June 6th.

Mother Tiiu feeds the eagle-to-be

So the eagle chick has become one week old in the forest.
