White melilot

We all know the white-flowered melilot. The flowers are gathered in racemes, a couple of centimetres long and erect; the individual flowers however are nodding – a characteristic of all melilots. The compound leaves have three leaflets – the centre one with a longer leaf stem than the side leaflets. The margin is toothed or notched.
Am excellent honey plant thanks to its long flowering period: from June to September.
