Hazel with nuts
Hazels have liked this year. There are many nuts! The wild nuts have started to come loose in their "nests“ or husks now, and already spill down: just the right time to go and collect ripe fruits. The kernel doesn’t shrink any longer.
Forest inhabitants appreciate the hazelnuts too.
Mice, squirrels, nutcracker, woodpeckers, nuthatch, wild boar: all have errands to the trees.
