Dear bird friends!

Bird migration is speeding up and the City Birdwatching Day (also known as the Intercity bird rally) is once more approaching. The event, focused on looking for birds in urban environments, traditionally takes place on the last Sunday in March – this year March 25th. All bird friends are invited and you can participate in all cities in Estonia.
To take part in the birdwatching bring along at least one friend, but a group of up to five people can go on the trip. Bird species seen and heard on March 25th, between 5.00 – 13.00, are taken in account. Watchers must be quite certain about the identification and the birds must be observed without leaving the administrative city limits. Don’t be put off by the early hour – the start can be made later, it is only important to note that bird species seen-heard after 13.00 will not count!
Because summaries are made very promptly – already in the same evening – we expect your results on March 25th, at 16.00 at latest. Please send survey results by e-mail to: tarvo.valker@gmail.com .

Your results summary must contain: the names of the participants, the city of the observations and a list of the observed bird species.
