 One month is left until the announcement of the “Nature Year Photo 2012“ -  “Looduse Aasta Foto 2012” photo contest winners.

 

This year we received more than 10500 photos. The jury, with Rein Maran (chairman), Sirje Tooma, Tiit Pääsuke, Tiit Leito, Tõnu Talpsep, Urmas Tartes, Arne Ader, Sandor Liive and Heiko Kruusi viewed and evaluated photos in Pillapalu for three days.

 

A special aspect of our competition is that children up to 13 years compete alongside adults and young people. More than 500 photos were submitted. We now show them all on Internet. The youngest photographers were 3 and 4 years old.

 

In a week you can view the creative efforts of young nature photographers, up to 19 years old.
