Buzzards have an egg in the nest since Friday

The buzzard pair have adapted the white-tailed eagles’ nest for themselves this year. The female laid the first egg on Friday. On Monday the second egg should be there – eggs are usually laid at intervals of two-three days. At the same time incubation begins. A full clutch generally has two to three eggs, rarely more. So if everything works out nicely we may expect the hatching of the chicks as May turns into June.
