Our young ospreys have reached two and a half months. Forum members call S8 Uno – being the first to hatch, on June 14th. Leg ring number S9 is Elo and a few days younger Nori wears S7. Flying exercises started 25 days ago.

 

Father Madis takes care of the young birds, mother Piret - who by chance was the one to get the Polish-produced transmitter backpack on August 4^th - started her migration already on August 17th. In three days Piret flew to the Black Sea coast.
