To watch the Looduskalender web cameras the Internet connection between the viewer’s computer and the camera servers (at the EENet server centre) has to be adequate. But data can move along complicated paths in the Internet and the connection may not always be as fast as the provider of the service promises.

 

Now it is possible to make sure very simply whether what is needed to watch the cameras by Internet is supported. In the EENet server a copy of the Speedtest, well known by many, is available; it will measure the speed of the Internet connection between the viewer’s computer and the EENet servers. If it is greater than 1 MBit/s the cameras can usually be viewed without problems.
