There is less sunlight by each day, and the solar panels cannot manage feeding the web camera and the night-time scanty infrared illumination of the site. Ahto charged the set of batteries so for some time the camera view from the forest can be seen again. Interruptions may occur in stormy weather.

 

The female bear with four cubs seen at Alutaguse is not a very common sight in our forests. About sixty to seventy bear mothers move around in the  forests this year with cubs born in the winter and there may be one or two more such families with quadruplets..
