Snow and leaf fall

Snow on birch leaves

The northerly storm wind brought frost. Snow covered the ground as if one season had somehow been bypassed. Between the storm-torn clouds blue skies could be seen at noon and enough sunshine to make the snow and the gold of the leaves glisten.

The sea water is still quite warm and when it meets the cold masses of air mighty clouds form, bringing heavy snowfall and blowing snow when they reach the coast; before Monday no weather change is promised here.
