The pocket guide for identifying the owners of large nests found in forests has been produced jointly by the Estonian and Latvian Ornithological Societies. The guide provides information on 14 species: eagles and large birds of prey, and in addition black stork and raven. Ample information is included for each species, ranging from photos to various data.

The guide was prepared within the joint project "Eagles cross borders“ of the Estonian Ornithological Society, the Latvian Fund for Nature and the Latvian Ornithological Society. It is handed out to all who come across such nests in their work.

The guide, in Estonian, can be downloaded free of charge from here or, in Latvian, here
