Late autumn lasts

The day is really short, only eight hours. Morning and evening twilights last forty-five minutes and over fourteen hours are left for darkness. Of the possible sun radiation only very little reaches the ground.
The weather is rainy. The snow that fell in October melted In the beginning of November. Forests are bare, areas with herbaceous plants brown or grey. The unusually high air temperatures have added green into nature but also windy days. Ditches, creeks, rivers and lakes are filled with water.
Late autumn lasts, we still have early winter to wait for – with snow so that there might be at least the smallest measure more of light.
