In the morning twilight on Monday Aivar Veide managed to film the fox sparrow through a birding telescope. Outside there were nearly ten degrees of frost but that did not worry the bird. Once a great tit came to check: what is the creature digging at there?
As of 2009 the fox sparrow has been observed in November 1944 in Iceland and in June 1961 in Ireland.
