The weather at Otepää is pleasantly wintery, over ten degrees of cold. This year there are many tits at the breakfast table, greenfinches are also there and more will surely come.

 

The blackbird has made tours at the feeding place for almost a week. Today, Saturday, it was there too five or six times doing climbing exercises. Keeping company with the smaller ones works nicely. Even the jay visited a couple of times. Domestic pigeons were of course among the largest but the seating is a little uncomfortable for them  – less terrorising of passerines, but then again, where would they get their stomach filled?

 

We will start introducing the passerines soon. Would it be needed? we asked, but even habitual viewers thought that descriptions would be helpful. And so we will present them.
