Looduse Omnibuss, journal Loodusesõber, Looduskalender and other wolf friends invite you to the first Nature night of the year, on Monday January 7th, at 18 (6 pm), Estonian time.
The animal of the year, the wolf, is portrayed by zoosemiotics expert Aleksei Turovski, nature film maker Rein Maran and wolf researchers Mati Kaal, Peep Männil and Ilmar Rootsi.
Peep Männil talks about wolf studies today, Mati Kaal tells how it was done in the old days. Excerpts from the film “Laanetaguse suvi” and wolf photos will be shown. One image will be created by Aleksei Turovski on site. Tõnis Korts, managing director of the Estonian Hunters’ Society, is invited as guest.
