A weak westerly wind collects ice in front of the seal monitoring camera. There are already small ice ridges at the shallow beach, in the open sea drift ice moves with the wind.
The sunny weather helped to get the camera power system working. Seals have not been seen neither on Monday nor today, Tuesday; two or three white-tailed eagles were patrolling along the ice front. In the morning mute swans and ducks (too far for the species to be identified) were still to be seen in the open water. Pleasant, crisp, sunny winter weather, with the shore sea slowly filling up with ice.
