Raccoon dog    Kährikkoer or kährik       Nyctereutes procyonoides
The slightly warmer weather has made the raccoon dog pair wake up from their slumber; they spend the winter together. Good to see that they seem to be free from mange (the Ilmatsalu hunters have been catching sick animals selectively with cage traps already for years).
 

The heat period of these canines is in February, they will obviously be heard and seen more often then
