Are the eagles sensing that the long-term weather forecast is predicting up to 5 degrees Celsius for the following weeks?

 

There was some serious mending going on in the snowy and definitely frozen nest of the white-tailed eagle. The mind is obviously anticipating the spring so much that the white-tailed eagles mated for the first time today. Later, the pair of birds spent a few hours sitting  side by side and „marvelling“ over the view around them.

 

Today`s weather in Läänemaa was sunny through some haze, but the overall sunshine this year in January and February has been miserably low – at times, only half of the usual.
