If there is thick snow wolves like to move along the ice on rivers where the snow cover is thinner. The Alam-Pedja wolf flock has been busy on the Umbusi river. Photographed on February 27th, 2011
The day is already a little longer than the night, and the sun rises ever higher. A little more, and winter will finally give up. But the white ground now still makes it possible to discover forests on skis or snowshoes, and to read the print tracks left in the soft snow. It is the last moment to come across wolf tracks winding in the brushwood, and share the discoveries with others through your photos. Nothing ventured, nothing won, or seen, and on roaming in the forest even seeing the wolf itself is not impossible.
Have you seen the submitted photos and read the stories of how they were made?
