About the recording from six o’clock in the evening firstly. Oxana is sitting on the nest where one egg has been laid. Female osprey Piret, who was breeding in the nest with Madis last year, attacks the nest, and Oxana prefers to retreat. Unfortunately we cannot see what happens outside the camera’s field of view.

 

In any case the nesting is disturbed. From nine o’clock on Friday evening the egg was alone in the nest and uncovered, although ospreys could be heard flying around. We will see how things develop.
