Wolves

And it is here. The weather is beautiful, warm but windy – it means that field work must be done before the necessary soil moisture disappears. Engines thunder in the fields for long days, sometimes  nights too.
The time soon arrives when cubs are born to wolves. This year we might dare predicting the birth of about a hundred cubs. The new wolf generation needs food. About thirty thousand piglets have already been born to the wild boars, and about five thousand calves have been born or are about to be born to elks.

For the needs of wolves less than 10% of them will be needed . The great majority will thus be left for hunters who must keep down the increase in their abundance  in order  to  reduce forest and agricultural damage.
