Painted lady

 

 

Painted ladies migrate southwards for the winter quite as migrating birds do. They winter in North Africa and fly back to us in spring to produce offspring. In the last days of May they were flying around in Kärevere, tasting nectar from the fresh  dandelions. Breeding time is ahead.
