Tõnn in Germany

A couple of days ago we received communication from the Greater Spotted Eagle Tõnn. He's discovering the southern states of Germany—after lunch on Sunday he was in Bavaria and at the Baden-Württemberg border which he obviously crossed. In all cases, at 16:00 hours local time (14:00 GMT) he was flying in the area of the village of Hemmersheim.

There the landscape is undulating and treeless with virtually no forest to speak of. Fortunately, there are still a few trees to be found where a needed rest can be had. Hopefully, there's also a sufficient supply of things to chew on in order to get energy from time to time.
Tõnn spent Saturday night and Sunday morning near the edge of the city of Bamberg. We aren't sure whether he visited the military base to show his backpack to the American soldiers based there…
In all cases, Tõnn's fall migration continues and we wait with great interest to see where it finally carries him!
You can see his last positions on the map—clicking on the dots will show flight speed, altitude, and azimuth, from which you can make your own conclusions about where Tõnn might be headed.
