Storklet Miiko, who returned at Thursday noon, is displaying his ability to fly in a rather interesting way in his „body language“. He left the nest for almost thirty hours.

 

The first longer flight practice – in addition to dealing with the act of flying in an unknown surrounding, the storklet had to find a way back to the nest with the help of some markers and there was nobody guiding him... Landing still takes place with unsteady legs.

 

Obviously it is safe at the nest as long as the parents keep feeding.
