The University of Tartu Natural History Museum invites you to view and discover the variety of fungi in Estonian forests on September 5 and 6.
In the foyer of the UT museum (Vanemuise 46, Tartu) agarics, lepiotas, boletes, milk caps (Lactarius), Cortinarius, Tricholoma and many other fungi groups are exhibited. At 11, 15 and 17 o’clock on both days specialists will share their knowledge of mushrooms and their characteristics with you. Visitors can bring along mushrooms to the exhibition for determination of the species and more detailed information. A photo exhibition reflecting the diversity of fungi is also open for visitors.
The exhibition is open on September 5th and 6th, 10-18, and admittance is free. Schools can book guided tours of the exhibition and on the Natural History Museum’s web site you can browse the freshly completed Mushroom education compendium
