Until October 1st (inclusive) photos to the Eesti Loodus competition can be uploaded on the web page:

Requirements for photos: the photo must be taken in Estonia and show living creatures in nature, singly or together. Photos of domesticated animals or cultivated plants compete in their own categories (domestic animal and garden plant). The photo must be taken in Estonia and the photographed animal, plant or fungus must be recognizable and as accurately as possible identified by the author. As celebration of the international biodiversity year there may also be as many creatures of different species as possible together in a habitat. The best photos depicting biodiversity will have their own awards. Each photo must be accompanied by a short story (100-150 characters) telling where and how the photo was taken and who is in the photo.
