Working in the garden I discovered a beautiful sight today: a raspberry laden with berries!

And it was not a belated old raspberry (our berry harvesting is usually in the second half of July), but a young cane that should carry a harvest only next summer, and not on October 1st.

 

They did taste a little sourish...
