Last days of October, frogs on the roads, not massively but wintering place searchers are there. The rains of the few last days have set the waters flowing in ditches in lower-lying areas...

 

Between clumps of bear-berry and heather a male butterfly has spent the rainy days with closed wings. A shimmering bright yellow patch of colour in the brown-coloured autumn nature, for him it is not yet the right time to crawl into the forest moss for wintering.
