Master of Bloodless Hunt for 5th time Ingmar Muusikus

From the birds and animals caught in this year’s wildlife photo contest Bloodless Hunt the organisers have selected 55 photos for the exhibition. The photos also have the author’s description of the story of the photo. Beginning on Tuesday Nov 5th, photo fans are welcome to the new offices of the RMK, on the ground floor at Toompuiestee 24. Press the door bell during working hours from 9 to18, the exhibition is worth seeing and entrance is free. It stays open until December 19th, from January onwards the exhibition goes to the Tartu Environmental Education Centre.
For the fifth time Ingmar Muusikus, who caught the first encounter of two young elks in his photo, was elected winner. The Bloodless Hunt took place for the 16th time this spring, in Läänemaa in the Silma nature protection area, Martna, Piirsalu and Linnamägi. The photos taken during the hunt and selected for the exhibition also have the authors' descriptions of how they were obtained. In the words of Bloodless Hunt head organiser Tiit Hunt, the governing idea of the Bloodless Hunt is to show the special character and biodiversity of the competition area.
Organisers of the Bloodless Hunt are RMK (State Forest Management Centre) and AS Overall Eesti. Altogether this year’s photo hunt had 35 participants, of whom many were well known photographers.
