Exhibition of endangered species in Estonia in UT library

Inviting you to the exhibition Estonian Fund for Nature, ELF
Translation: Liis

Illustrations and texts in exhibition by Rein Kuresoo

The exhibition prepared by Eestimaa Looduse Fond. ELF, and presenting highly endangered and already extinct species in Estonia can be visited until December 1st, next to the conference hall of the Tartu University library..
It is frequently assumed that nature in Estonia has been preserved intact; sadly we can show abundant examples of cases where human activities have directly caused the extinction of a species. An aim of the exhibition is to clearly explain the need for environmental protection.
