Roe deer don`t have any use for this sheer knowledge because the „competition“ appears already when it`s barely dark – thus, you have to listen carefully when Mait delivers the feed to the ground and the surroundings are all calm.

 

As one remembers, logging took place near the camera last winter – the forest was clearcut on four hectares and improvement cutting took place on a very large area, more than fifty hectares. Forestry equipment was delivered on Thursday once again and also this year logging will begin once the cold arrives. It takes place farther from the camera, but the timber-loading area is near the camera where one could hear the loading of timber last year.

 

Forest creatures are sure to have adjusted to the new situation in the forest, there is a healthy number of wild boars moving about and it is sure that the logging will also end at some point.
