This year is the Ringed Seal Year and for that reason the editorial board of „Loodusesõber“ magazine is asking for true stories about the ringed seal or the grey seal, because it is easy to confuse these two whisker-bearers from the distance. Stories of all kinds are welcomed, for example about encountering the animals, folk stories heard from great-grandparents, observations about the activities of the ringed seals or the grey seals, seal rocks or also about seals in fishing nets. Prizes are given to the best writers at the end of the year. Most stories will be published in „Loodusesõber“ magazine and on website www.looduskalender.ee.
