It is not very common to find five eggs in a tawny owl nest.
On March 11th Klaara laid the first egg and tonight, on March 22nd, we saw the fifth. Incubation starts after the first egg is laid according to information from bird researchers. The incubation period is four weeks, so we will certainly see tawny owl chicks of different ages and sizes …
So, we can start expecting the hatching of the first chick from April 8th.
