Fieldfare    Hallrästas or paskrästas     Turdus pilaris

The chicks abandon the nest a little before getting two weeks old. Three more days and they can already fly, although of course not as master fliers. The adults bring their clutch to an open area to forage, there it is easier to observe the surroundings and the chicks are defended regardless of self and raucously. During the next two weeks all thrush wisdom must be acquired because then the juveniles become independent, but sometimes the adults feed them for a little longer.
