In spring we saw the visits of a solitary badger and somewhat later of a badger family in the deer camera. It turned out that the badger castle was about half a kilometre away.
On May 15th we had installed the webcam in a quite interesting place in our opinion, observing the tracks of badgers on their paths. A badger indeed showed up already in the first evening but that was all. Trail camera tracking provided us with information about activities in a castle further off. OK, we installed the webcam even further away a week ago. Regarding the technical solution it was once more a new experience for us.
The badger pair can be seen in evenings as well as mornings, but briefly. Of course we have not yet abandoned hope about seeing the new badger generation, but more about that in the news updates.
