We have to make a pause in monitoring the nest life of ospreys Irma and Ilmar. Transmission from the camera stopped, cause either a fault in the camera or the cable leading to it. Since hatching of the osprey chicks goes on in the nest it is not possible to go to the camera, thereby disturbing nest life. We plan to change the camera and cable in about two weeks when the osprey chicks are somewhat bigger.

Until then the  doings of the Latvian ospreys can be watched. The chicks are already three weeks old there .  The forum  is also open.
