In the night and early on Saturday morning we managed to observe the spawning of two pairs of brown trout.

 

The digging of a spawn nest (redd) by the female, depositing the roe and its fertilization can take up to a couple of hours depending on the size of the fish.

 

We will see how underwater life proceeds during daytime…
