All kinds of creatures are still moving around. The common or grass frog is our usual so-called ”brown” frog, distinguishable from the smaller moor frog (Rana arvalis) by its blunter nose. They winter in groups in the bottom mud of water bodies. Our ”strayer” still has some ten meters of moving downstream left before reaching a suitable wintering spot with mud as well as  deep enough water.
