As the storm receded yesterday, seals became visible in camera view in the shore waters . The first brave creature came on to the beach rocks early in the evening.

 

The view yesterday in the storm showed only waves and a few mew gulls. The southerly wind had gusts of up to 30 m/s on the Vilsandi wind gauge. There was about 4 degrees above zero in both water and air.

 

The water has risen only about some twenty centimetres in the Baltic and it seems that the stormy season may last until Christmas …
