At midday on January 17th we started our journey from Simuna, West Viru County, going along the Pedja river towards Lake Mällo. During the walk we saw many different nature marks; some shrubs had already started to show their green buds, willows already flowered, there were beautiful green lichens on trees, we also saw the demolition work of beavers, various birds such as great tits, willow tits, bullfinches, even a dipper.
