Brīvības iela, Riia.

 

The organizers of the Latvian Year of Wild Boar, the Latvian Museum of Natural History, sent us a piece of news. This is Brīvības iela, Freedom Street, that leads into the city centre of Riga and known to every Estonian visitor to the capital of Latvia. Local people comment: within the boundaries of Riga there are several quite large groves with trees  - a pleasure for wild boar to live in.

 

The situation in Tallinn  is similar; the Paljassaare peninsula has become a habitat of the boars.
