We are happy to announce that the intercity birdwatching day of the Estonian Ornithological Society is almost here, and it is the 14th in a row.
The city birdwatch takes place on Sunday, March 29th.
You can start the species hunt in a city of your own choice already at 5 o’clock in early morning. Native bird species that are seen before 1 o’clock pm (13.00) without leaving the city boundaries are counted. There is no need to be daunted by the early starting time; much less time can be used for the watching.
Please send the results of your birdwatching by e-mail to:
- already on Sunday, March 29th in the afternoon, at 4 pm at the latest.
The rules and additional information about the intercity bird rally are on the Estonian Ornithological Society’s web site:
Wishing all a wealth of city birds,
Tarvo Valker
Coordinator, Intercity Birdwatching Day.
