Time flies, half a month has already passed since the hatching of the white-tailed eagle chick.

 

A newly hatched half day old WTE chick weighs 90 grams, the birthday kid is already big and enterprising, but at the moment we cannot guess the weight – precise data will come when the young birds are ringed.

 

There is plenty of food in the nest, the adults are experienced hunters and fishers. The female already trusts leaving the chick alone in the nest when the weather is pleasant but she will not move far from the nest.
