Buzzards can be seen everywhere in Estonia

To see buzzards in seashore areas in winter is no surprise. This year they have been observed quite frequently all over Estonia. It is so to say a mousey year [hiireviu = ’mouse buzzard’], many grain crops were left in the fields, it is wet, and so convenient for the buzzards to hunt on higher ground. When it suits, visits are paid to the Forest Camera and the Eagle Camera feeding grounds. Nice places - except for the ravens who much enjoy being in power there.
