The bittern chicks are almost 2 weeks old, the younger is a little downier

 

 

The bittern female and the progress of her chicks have proved interesting to observe. She already leaves her chicks on their own for almost 3 hours; of course the food requirement of the chicks has increased greatly and soon they will leave the nest to gain the necessary experiences for a bittern’s life. But let us not forego the course of events. Generally when the whole family leaves the nest they will not return. But we will see.
