In both the buzzard nests with webcams there are three chicks, and they are not all alike. Even viewers who have watched only a little longer can see the differences between the chicks, and quite a number of different names were offered as a result. Some names however came up more often. Those with the most votes are noted below.

 

The adults were once given their names in the same way - Mari and Mihkel (nest camera – Buzzard1); Katrin and Kalju (nest camera – Buzzard2).

Boss, Kalle and Kulla are about a week younger than Max, Midi and Maimu. This is of course also visible in their appearances. But in about a month these young buzzards should be flying – we will see whether the prediction turns out to be correct. Until then they have to eat a large number  of mice…
