When humans long for basking on beaches the ”beach life” of gray seals can be seen at least for weeks, with brief intervals.

 

We saw the breeding in winter, and the fur molting slightly more than a month ago. It is useful to remember that the patches on the coats of the seals remain unchanged like our fingerprints.

 

With bellies properly filled the socializing seals gather in the rookeries from time to time: the young play around, the older, after having exchanged news, enjoy the pleasures of a peaceful beach life fully.
