At the early morning feeding time of the adults two of the three young buzzards still appeared at the nest, and their calls can still be heard around the nest. But even the youngest one hangs around in the branches of the nest tree and during daytime the nest is mostly empty.
These are likely to be the last days to see the young inquisitive new world citizens in camera view. There are no problems with feeding: the ground is soaked with water and so the hidden life of small rodents has become more difficult. Frogs too seem to be moving around this year thanks to the rainy weather. They enrich the menu of the buzzards, and in addition there are the passerines whose fledglings are more numerous by each day
