Since there are houses near the Forest Camera we have seen jackdaws on the camera lately: slightly smaller than crows, very smart birds. Jackdaws look as if they have a silver-grey headscarf, the feathers of the back are black with a metallic sheen, breast is dark grey. Because its forehead is black, the iris of the eye seems white, in reality it is steel-gray. In places like this they move by pairs, or in small groups.
