On Sunday afternoon at about 6 o’clock a mighty rain cloud with lightning moved from the Baltic into the Gulf of Finland. In front of the cloud massif the beginnings of waterspouts started to form, and simultaneously a waterspout between the cloud and sea became visible.

 

A powerful view. Such phenomena generally fade out on reaching the mainland and do not cause gale damage.
